I’m looking for fluidity with chaos held together by repetition.

I am fascinated by the idea that as we perceive our reality that moment has already passed, and what our consciousness is actually doing is remembering that moment: The time we call now. Art grapples with the impossible: Pinning down moments while seeming eternal. Making life feel immortal while exposing the turbulence and contrarian values nature imposes. Making art is ritual- tossing spears into a empty field near the ancestral gate.

My grandmother kicked me off her lap at age three when I started to critique her painting style. She handed me a brush and said if you think you know what you are doing, then do it yourself.
